The Tellurian story commenced in 2003 with the planting of our first block on the western side of Mt Camel at Toolleen. Winemaker Tobias Ansted has worked in the region for over a decade, using minimal intervention philosophies to craft wines that are a true expression of their site. Viticulturist Tim Brown has orchestrated vineyard management practices that ensure crop loads are carefully managed on a vine by vine basis to deliver optimum fruit quality and owner, Ian Hopkins passion for wines from the Heathcote region was the springboard for the establishment of the Tellurian venture
